About The Campground:
The park features three beautiful lakes in a serene country setting. The
swimming lake has a sandy beach and a sandy bottom...perfect for lazy days
in the sun. The two stocked fishing lakes will provide hours of fishing fun.
The campground also features a Clubhouse with an attached pavilion. The
Clubhouse will accommodate up to 200 people which we use for various
functions throughout the season. It includes a full service kitchen, modern
bath facilities, and an activity room. There are two large picnic pavilions
located in the park and available for your use.
We installed a new L-shaped swimming pool in 2004. It has proven to be
quite a hit. The pool and swimming lake are open during posted hours and
are available to campers and the public.
The camp store has been redone and is stocked with common camper
supplies and staples, candy, ice cream, snow cones and other items. The
store will be open during the camping season.
The campground laundry room has two washers and dryers for your use.
For 2005 we installed a new access gate system complete with keycards for
both our seasonal campers and weekend / daily campers.
The game room for 2008 will feature all new machines.
Throughout the camping season, management will host various activities for
our guests. Past years events have included Holiday Celebrations, Dances,
Potluck Dinners, Fishing Contest, Kids Games, Craft Activities, Amish Bake
Sales, Hayrides, and much more. Our steak dinners and the fall clam bake
are big hits. We feature a complete meal, including specially priced children's
dinners. A wonderful time for the whole family.
A couple of annual events that are of special interest are "Christmas in July"
and out "Halloween at Country Lakes". For "Christmas", Santa will pay a visit
and delight the children on a Hayride. Our Halloween celebration is getting
bigger each year. The seasonal campers go all-out to decorate the sites and
make sure that the "Haunted Hayride" is everything it says it is. You must
make sure to put this event on your schedule. Check the picture section for a
few pic's taken at these events.
MOVIE NIGHT. Many Saturday nights throughout the season we show
popular family movies either in the clubhouse (when the
weather isn't cooperating) or outdoors, "Drive-In Style"
(not for auto's or trucks - golf carts only), on our 8' X 12'
movie screen. Bring your lounge chair or blanket and enjoy!
